April 16, 2018 0 Comments

You don’t have to be a meteorologist to know April is off the coldest start in Peoria history but climatology tells us it will get better. The average date of the of the latest freeze in Peoria is April 15th. Regarding snow, we’ve certainly had more than our fair share since the first snowfall of the season Christmas Eve. Officially in Peoria we’ve had 2.5″ this month. We need 3″ to break into the top 10. We have a chance of flurries Wednesday night but it doesn’t look like enough to accumulate.
